Can you change your second printk so that it makes sure each dereference inside dentry isn't on NULL? Like:
It seems both d_inode and d_sb must be null here.
BTW, are you able to reproduce this on our 3.14.23 or 3.17.2 kernels?

It seems both d_inode and d_sb must be null here.
