grsecurity and kernel 2.6.9

I am newbie in this matter, could you confirm to me if it is possible to
apply grsecurity-2.0.1-2.6.7.patch to the next kernel 2.6.9 ??

I think 2.0.1-2.6.7 is not only for this kernel version - 2.6.7 - or ??

2.6.9 not released yet, it's release candidate 3. grsecurity not released for unreleased kernel.
Grsecurity for 2.6.8 delayed also, how i understand, because changes from 2.6.7 to 2.6.8 too serious.
