Gentoo trouble

Postby Energ » Thu Jul 29, 2004 8:34 am

I am a gentoo user. I have just emerged grsec-sources-2.4.26.2.0-r6 with gradm-2.0-r1

But when i do gradm -F -L /etc/grsec/logs i got this:
You are using incompatible versions of gradm and grsecurity.
Please update both versions to the ones available on the website.

What i did wrong? How to fix?

OK, the trouble was in non-correct ebuild script for gradm. I install it with my hands, now everything work right.

Not to nag but did you let the maintainer of the ebuild script know about the problem so it can be fixed?

Also, what were the changes you made so that way we can point people to a patch if they run into the same issue before the ebuild script is fixed?
