grsecurity, tomcat and XML

Postby le_zell » Mon Jan 19, 2004 8:35 am

Hi !

We have on our server (apache 1.3.28/PHP 4.3.3/Celeron 1.7 Ghz) an application witch uses tomcat+apache to display categories from a XML flow witch comes from another server.

(http://www.larochellerochefort.com/page ... comarquage).

If we use the kernel Linux 2.4.24 without the patch grsecurity, we don't have any problem (see the link above). But if we boot on the same kernel but with the patch, the categories disappear...so i think it comes from that.

Somebody knows why ?

thank you for all !

what's in your kernel's .config exactly? have you got any logs from grsecurity/PaX?

egrep grsec\|PAX /var/log/kern.log or something like that, it depends on where you're logging the kernel messages.

Problem solved by changing the tomcat port.

Thanks for all.
