Possible problem with radvd and grsec

Postby Assenzio » Wed Jun 25, 2003 2:39 pm

Hi all,
I have slackware 9 with 2.4.21-grsec compiled with level 'high',
my problem is that radvd (an IPv6 routing daemon) does not succeed to work and I really need it...
Do you think it's due to any grsec option?

do you see any logs in syslog starting with "grsec:"? If so, can you paste them?

Hi,
I can't see any grsec message in syslog so I think it's a my radvd configuration error.
Sorry for begging and congratulation for the great work that grsec is.

radvd on Slackware with grsecurity

Postby rkeene » Sat Jun 28, 2003 11:01 pm

I have Slackware (8.0.47), with the radvd (0.7.1, from the USAGI project), the 2.4.20 kernel, and the Grsecurity patch (1.9.9g). It works without issue.
