Is it safe to use ccache when compiling grsecurity kernels ?

Postby rfnx » Sat Dec 10, 2016 4:02 pm

Hello,

I wanted to speed up the build process with ccache, but is it safe to use it when compiling grsecurity kernels? Can the ccache output be wrong because of some options in grsecurity kernel config (options which randomize parts of the kernel, for instance)?

Regards

Edit: I searched the forum before and this question was asked twice previously but has never been answered.

Does a grsec kernel boot after being compiled with ccache? If it works, what would be wrong with it?
