Random Segmentation Fault on 2.6.11.12 with a P4 SMP Kernel,

When i try do do a ./configure on source programs, randomly the different shell tests segfault.

this also is true for man pages oder vi command ....

But ss far as i can tell the non-console programs (deamons and so) are running ...

any hints whats causing this trouble ?

core dump files does not provide real info through "where" cmd
